How to Make Mini Gravestone Halloween Treat Bags | FREE DIY Printable

Halloween is a great time to be cheeky with your crafts and maybe the only time you can give gifts to strangers that say EAT ME 😂 The gift of giving just can not get better!

I have created some fun Gravestone Mini Treat Bag Free Printables for you to cut and make at home. Make for your neighbours, school friends and family.

These Gravestone bags are a great way to have a table set up outside your front door. The Trick or Treaters can take a Gravestone treat bag and say a quick hello behind your screen door before moving on. All with no contact, especially if you are like some of us unlucky ones who can not celebrate Halloween due to your city's restrictions or are worried about coming into contact with a lot of people at your home.
These Halloween Gravestone Treat Bags are Mini size so you can offer more candy lolly bags without fear of running out.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE MINI GRAVESTONE CANDY LOLLY TREAT BAGS

  • Print the template on the paper colour of your choice.
I have tested this Halloween Gravestone design on cardboard and paper, and both worked great. This tutorial was done with neon craft paper but also looks great on any colour and plain white. There are 2 slightly different designs with the 'Treat Yo'self' design being slightly taller than the 'Eat Me' Grave design.
  • Cut the templates
Cut around the solid thin edge lines neatly.
  • Fold all the verticle lines to create a rectangle box shape
  • Fold the horizontal lines at the bottom of the Tombstone and the small tab on the top back panel
  • Glue or tape the skinny side tab to the joining edge
  • Fold one long tab at the bottom over and place glue on both side tabs and the opposite long tab. Glue flat
  • Once glued, push a flat bottom item like a pen on whatever you have, inside to secure the glue and put pressure on the paper to stick together. I do this for around 5 seconds
  • Pinch the sides together to make a paper bag design by pushing your fingers into the top side sections. Slide your finger downwards creating the fold to taper down towards the bottom. This sounds harder than it is but once you do the first one you will see how easy it is
  • Place your treats inside and seal by putting a dab of glue or tape on the back top tab
Adorable right? You will want to make a truckload of them once you see how cute and fun these Tombstones look standing next to each other.
