What you didn't know you needed this week!

This week while doing my normal craft admiring on social media, I came across the hashtag #animalcrossingembroidery and couldn't believe my eyes! How did I not ever come across this before and why have I not thought about making one.

With this newly found information, I had to share some of the talented artists who have created these embroidery masterpieces.

Try to contain your excitement! It's hard

This was the first Animal Crossing Embroidery I came across on Instagram and instantly fell in love with it. This was made by the talented @nicolescrafty who shares her story on how she was meant to be getting married today & unfortunately due to COVID-19 quarantine restrictions had to postpone her wedding to the love of her life and her best friend. Like most Brides, at the moment it's tough to deal with the wait & stress of changing all your bookings.

I think her words to all brides at the moment are perfect

"So I have been the driver of the hot mess express for about two months. But playing animal crossing, and crafting (when I find the motivation) has really helped balance my worst days. So I am grateful to have my crafts and something nice to combat all my negative thoughts. So to anyone out there with all these emotions, especially the guilt, you're feelings are valid, this pandemic sucks (some leaders really do suck too) and there are people out there who are feeling the same way too. To the couples who had to move their weddings, I'm sorry you have to move your special day, I truly feel for you. Much love ❤️"

Below is more Animal Crossing Embroidery to lust over!

Have you been playing Animal Crossing while in isolation? Both my daughters play around their school & Uni Work, I think it's a great way at the moment to take away some stress of missing your friends and what is happening in the world.

My stress relief is crafting, so with the above inspiration, it looks like I will try my hand at making my own Animal Crossing embroidery hoop.
Make sure you check out all these creative embroidery artists above and support them with a follow or order your own, as most are doing commissions!
