 TATTOO Scroll Cakes Tutorial
A few weeks ago I was asked to make a quick cake for some girls who were celebrating their birthday and to bring it along to their Roller Derby fundraiser.

I didn't have much time as it was one of those busy weeks and crazy days, so I made a quick double heart scroll tattoo cake with some matching cupcakes which had the birthday girl's names on them whose birthday it was.

The tattoo flash cupcakes turned out so cute  I think they could be used for so many celebrations, especially an engagement party or a wedding.

TATTOO Scroll Cupcake Supplies
  • Cupcakes
  • Fondant
  • Pink food colouring
  • Frosting
DIY Instructions
  1. Cook cupcakes
  2. Frost cupcakes
  3. Mix pink food colouring into some fondant
  4. Roll the pink fondant and cut out a heart with a cookie cutter
  5. Place on top of the frosting
  6. Roll out some white frosting and cut in strips. Cut in the width of the cupcake and with a knife cut triangles out of the ends
  7. With a Black edible marker, write the words onto the strip
  8. Place the scroll over the pink heart
If I had more time the writing would have been neater but oh well, time is always my enemy 😂 This really is such an easy DIY for anyone to add some rock'n'roll to their party.

For the main cake, I made one chocolate heart & one vanilla heart and placed them together by cutting out one of the sides to fit. I threw on some frosting and decorated quickly with some plain white fondant, sprinkles and icing. I used a standard heart shape cake pan
